Solar energy will drastically reduce your electric bill, significantly impact the value of your home, gaurd against consistent increases in your energy costs and reduce your carbon footprint. Solar energy is the future and the future is now!
Advanced Energy Systems makes it easy. Our professional staff are there to answer your questions and keep you “in the loop” on all phases of this exciting project.
Using the energy consumption data from your home or business, coupled by the initial conversations regarding your goals, we develop a customized performance and cash flow analysis just for you. Consideration is given to the available mounting space and budget when developing these proposals.
When you approve the proposal and purchase contract, you are given contact information for the AES staff members who will be handling your account. We handle the preparation and submission to the utility company for your rebate as well as all required permits for construction. If there is a home owners association we will also supply them with information regarding your project for their records.
When the utility company has issued their initial reservation agreement the real work begins. At this time the permit applications are made, additional paperwork is filed with the utility and the solar project is scheduled for installation.
Electric: First we install the racking system. This is followed by the electrical conduit, inverter(s), meter and circuit breaker installation. The last phase involves the actual placement of the solar modules on the racking system.
Thermal: First we install the solar collector on the roof. The controller and storage tanks are set-up below in conjunction with the solar collector. Next the piping is run to connect the system together and finally the gas or electric back-up connections are made.
There are two primary inspections that must be made. First is the city or county inspection associated with the building permit. This is followed by the utility company whose final inspection allows activation of your system. The staff at Advanced Energy Systems will make sure that all work is in compliance and ready for turn-on.
When all approvals have been made, we will perform a start-up on the system checking all components to insure maximum efficiency. This is also when the optional monitoring systems are set-up as well. Our staff will explain the operation of the system with you and answer any questions that may arise.
Sit back and enjoy the benefits of having solar.
